Blog #10: Demolition of the house

After we finished the tree removal, rat and asbestos abatement a final inspection was conducted to ensure that the asbestos has been removed and that the work area is safe for reoccupation. My husband did some prep work himself and removed the fence.

The demotion involved use of heavy machinery, such as excavators and bulldozers, to tear down the house.

Once the house has been demolished, the debris will need to be removed from the site. This was done by a debris removal company, who hauled the debris away and dispose of it properly. Finally, once the site was cleared of debris, it was graded and prepared for the new construction.
